Let A be the probability of selecting an employee with salary more than Rs. 20000.

Let B be the probability of selecting an employee who are tea drinkers.

Both these events are independent events.

Number of employees in the organization = 250

Number of employees whose salary greater than Rs. 20000 is 55.

Number of tea drinkers = 150

Number of employees whose salary is more than Rs.20000 and are tea drinkers = 30

Thus the probability of selecting an employee who is a tea drinker and salary more than Rs.20000
is P open parentheses A intersection B close parentheses equals 30 over 250
