Osmotic pressure is generally preferred for determining the molar mass of proteins. Please explain why.

Proteins being temperature and pH sensitive, (undergo denaturation).
Osmotic pressure is generally preferred for determining the molar mass of proteins because it is temperature independant ( no change of temperature involved in the process).
