Expert Answer:
The frequency remains same. i.e. v/λ
vg/λg = vw/λw where v is the speed of light in the media and λ is the wavelength.
vg/cλg = vw/cλw
1/μgλg = 1/μwλw
μg = μwλw/λg=(4/3)(5/4) = 5/3.... since wavelength = thickness/no of waves.
