Expert Answer
Coelomate animals have a fluid filled body cavity called a coelom with a complete lining called peritoneum derived from mesoderm. All vertebrates having bilateral symmetry are coelomates. They are further divided on the basis of presence of type of body cavity. Pseudocoelomate animals have a pseudocoel, which is fully functional body cavity but the tissue derived from mesoderm only partly lines the fluid filled body cavity of these animals whereas the animals in which a true coelom is present are referred to as eucoelomates.
