The length and breadths of each will be the factors of therespective quadratic.
For the first polynomial you need to look for two numbers whose product is=25*12 and whose sum is -35.
So factorside 25*12=5*5*2*2*3=(5*3)*(5*2*2)=(15*20)
both numbers must be negative because their sum -35 is a negative number and the product is expected to be positive.
So the required numbers will be -15 and -20
So the required factors are
(a-15) and (a -20).
Next question can be solved in the same way , but looks like you have copied the question wrong.the sign for 13y should be plus and for 12 it should be minus...
the factors will be (y+28)(y-15)
