On analyzing 11.5g of a substance 6g of carbon, 1.5g of hydrogen and 4g of oxygen is obtained. Determine the mass percentage of element if the relative density of the substance is 23 then then what will be the molecular formula?

Mass percentage of carbon=6X100/11.5=52.17%
mass percentage of hydrogen =1.5X100/11.5 = 13.04 %
mass percentage of oxygen =  4 x100/11.5 = 34.78 %
relative density can only be used to give molecular  formula if it is a gas
