Cost price of the coat = Rs. 944

CGST to be paid = 9% of 944 = 9/100 x 944 = Rs. 84.96

Total amount to be paid = 944+84.96 = Rs. 1028.96

Selling price = Rs. 944

Discount should be given on the total amount so that the final amount is same as the selling price.

Discount = 1028.96 - 944 = Rs. 84.96

Discount % = 84.96/1028.96 x 100 = 8.26 %
