'If members of the human race practice compassion, they would make the world a better place to live'. Something I strongly belive in.
Sometime or the other, everyone goes through moments of stress and unfavourable situations. If possible act and make a differnce in your fellow human being's life, instead of turning your head away from them. 
Happened 2 years back, November, 2015
Attending a family function in Chennai
Post the function - family had gone shopping except for me
Was pouring heavily, no one anticipated the devastating effect it would have
Rooms started getting flooded with water 
Friend and his family stayed a few distance away
Walking through the flooded roads was a challenge
Everything washed out
Helped him/her get out of the wreckage
Helped others to get back to safety
Friend hurt, carried him/her back home
Apart a few bruises, he/she was perfectly fine
Felt contend and enthralled
Saving lives - satisfaction felt is beyond words to describe
