Pituitary gland produces many hormones. The anterior pituitary produces hormones such as as ACTH (Adrenocorticotrophic hormone), TSH (Thyroid stimulating hormone), prolactin, growth hormone, FSH (Follicle stimulating hormone), and LH (Leutenizing hormone).
The posterior pituitary secretes oxytocin and vasopressin.
The intermediate lobe of pituitary produces melanocyte-stimulating hormone (MSH).
