Reversible chemical change:
When nitrogen dioxide gas is heated, a forward chemical reaction takes place and brown nitrogen dioxide gas gives two colourless gases nitrogen monoxide and oxygen. If these colourless gases are cooled, they combine to form brown nitrogen dioxide gas. This is called a backward chemical reaction.
