my question is what happens when two closely related individuals mate for several generations so that inbreeding depression occur????

When two closely related individuals mate, the variation gets reduced from generation to generation. This may help breeders to produced offspring with specific traits.
Since, inbreeding depression will occur as a result of inbreeding, the offspring produced will have low fitness. They may be sterile.
