Complex motion is a combination of various types of motions like translatory, linear, circular, rotatory etc.
Most of the times the object do not possess any single motion.
It is usually a combination of various types of motions. For example: - when we observe a bus moving on a street, the wheels of bus are undergoing linear as well as circular motion. Other examples are -rotation, revolution, stone thrown into the air etc.
So, most motions that occur in our surroundings are complex motions.
