Expert Answer:
A convex mirror curves outwards to provide a wider angle of viewing whereas a concave mirror curves inwards which magnifies images.
Concave mirrors are only suitable for cosmetic or school science use.
convex mirrors are used as rear view mirrors in vehicles.
