Both  the front and back views ofteh tent looks as shown in the image.

Ares of front and back side of teh tent= 2  [  (8X5)  +   (1/2)X(3X8) ]  =104 sq m
Perimeter of the diagrem in the image except base= 2X5+2X5=20
So area of sides and top of teh tent= 10X20=200 Sq m

Total Area of teh tent=104+200=304 sq m

To find the volume of the tent
consider it sa two parts
1) block with 10X8X5 dimentions. and its volume = 400 C m
2)Volume of the slanted area= 1/2   X10X8X3=120 Cm

Total volume of the tent= 400+120=520 C m
