The main causes of irregularities in menstrual cycle are illness, emotional stress, travel, change in body weight and use of medicines. Sometimes, irregularity of the menstrual periods induces vaginal infection. Also, this could become the cause of infertility in women. It is recommended that if a woman is facing irregularities, than she must consult a doctor to understand the causes.
Menstrual pain or cramps are caused by prostaglandins, substances that occur naturally in your body and cause the uterus to contract. Menstrual cramps are usually mild, but sometimes, they can be severe. More severe menstrual pain can feel like sharp stabs or a nagging pain that spreads through your belly and lower back. Some women also experience dizziness, nausea, diarrhea or even vomiting.
A variety of vaginal, cervical or uterine conditions can lead to bleeding during sex such as common inflammation, various sexually transmitted diseases or abnormal growth that can include cancer.
