When we place Fe in CuSO4 solution, a reddish brown coating formd on nail, It is smooth and shining. Since the brown coating is copper metal which is soft and shining.
Iron being a more reactive metal displaces copper from copper sulphate solution to form copper meatl and ferrous sulphate.
Fe + CuSO4 Fe SO4 + Cu
