Expert Answer:

The relevant equation is

CaCO3 = CaO + CO2

100 g 56 g 44g

Lime stone contains 95% CaCO3

200 kg of limestone contains= 95 x 200/100 = 190Kg CaCO3

100 g of limestone on heating gives = 56 g CaO

190 kg gives= 56 x 190 x 103 /100 = 106400g of CaO or 106.4 kg of CaO
