Make the greatest and the smallest four digit numbers by using any four different digits such that digit 2 is always in the hundreds place.

We know that the digits written in descending order are 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 0.
Keeping 2 in the hundreds place, we can see that
greatest number = 9287
smallest number = 1203
