Maganese Oxide + 4 hyrogen Chloride -> Manganese Chloride + 2 water + Chlorine According to book Hydrogen should be gain but here has not gained So, why it is called oxidised reaction. Related to (NCRT book).

MnO + 4HCl ? MnCl2 + 2H2O + Cl2
The oxidation state of Cl in HCl is -1 and in Cl2 it is 0.thats why the reaction is oxidation reaction because of increase in oxidation number.
