Logically, as we go down the group, size increases. Due to this nuclear attraction decreases and so would the boiling and melting point. But in NCERT it is mentioned that 'Melting point and boiling point increases as we go down the group'. How is this possible??

This is because as the size increaeses, the van der Waals forces increases. This makes the boiling and melting point to rise.
