Expert Answer:
1 / 2(x + 2y) + 5 / 3(3x - 2y) = -3 / 2...(1)
5 / 4(x +2y) - 3 / 5(3x - 2y) = 61 / 60 ...(2)
Adding (1) and 25/9*(2) we get and then subtracting 2/5*(2) from (1) we get::
x+2y=1/3 ...(3)
and
3x-2y=-1 ...(4)
Solving (3) and (4):
x=-1/6 and = 1/4
