given: R = - 0.4 m; f = - 0.2 m; h = 0.2 m; u = - 0.8 m
v = ?; h' = ?
Using mirror formula
(1 / f) = (1 / v) + (1 / u)
(1 / - 0.2) = (1 / v) + (1 / -0.8)
(1 / v) = (1 / 0.8) - (1 / 0.2) = - 3 / 0.8
v = - 8 / 30 = - (4 / 15) m
Magnification (m) = h' / h = - v / u
h' = - v x h / u = - (- 4 / 15) x 0.2 / - 0.8 = - (1 / 15) m
