Laws of Friction?

We would request you to clarify / provide additional details ( eg. whether you want to know the laws of dynamic friction or limiting friction ) so that we may answer this to the best of the ability.
Laws of limiting friction :
1. The force of limiting friction is directly proportional to normal reaction for the same two surfaces in contact and it takes place in a direction which is opposite to the direction of force of the pull.
Limiting friction is max. static friction, it is less than static friction.
F α R
2. Limiting friction is independent of the size and shape of the bodies in contact as long as the normal reaction remains same.
