as E1 and E2 are in parallel therefore use resistance parallel addition formula 1/R1+1/R2=!/R'

from this find R' in terms of r1 and r2 now  add R with R' as now they are in series and now use V=IR to find the current (in parallel circuit the voltage across the terminal is equal.)
