Expert Answer
Power = work done/time = energy/time
V = Electric Potential = Electric Potential energy/amount of charge.
Electric potential is nothing by electric potential energy per unit amount of charge. And electric potential energy is the amount of work done to bring the charge from infinite distance to that point.
I = Electric current = amount of charge flowing/time
P = (Electric Potential energy/amount of charge)(amount of charge flowing/time) =
(Electric Potential energy/time)
= VI
Heat Liberated/Generated = [(Energy)/(time)](time)
= Pt
= VIt
= I2Rt .............Ohm's Law.
