John got a prize of 75000 in a tv contest . He paid 1/10 of the prize as the income tax .Out of the remaining he gave 1/3 to his son 1/5 to his daughter 1/10to the Ted cross society . And the rest to his wife what portion of the prize did John's wife get and how much

John got a prize of 75000 in a tv contest
He paid 1/10 of the prize as the income tax = 1/10 of 75000 = Rs. 7500
Out of the remaining he gave 1/3 to his son = 1/3 of (75000 - 7500) = 1/3 of 67500 = Rs. 22500
he gave 1/5 to his daughter = 1/5 of 67500 = Rs. 13500
He gave 1/10 to the Ted cross society = 1/10 of 67500 = Rs. 6750
The remaining amount he has given to his wife = 7500 - 7500 - 22500 - 13500 - 6750 = Rs. 24750
