It is desired to get an erect image of an object,using a concave mirror of focal length 20 cm.
What should be the range of distancce of the object from mirror?

Expert Answer
- The concave mirrors give out erect image only when the range of distance of the object from the mirror is less than the focal length of that concave mirror.
- Therefore, the range of distance of the object from mirror should be less than 20 cm.
- When the range of distance of the object from the mirror is doubled, the image is formed in front of the mirror but inverted.
