Is'nt the -COH formula used for the alcohol group? How can it be Aldehyde when there is only a single bond between carbon and oxygen as shown in the question? For Aldehyde there should have been a double bond between carbon and oxygen.

According to IUPAC Nomenclature,
C-OH is alcohol functional group
is aldehydic group which is abbriviated as -CHO.
