Dear student
Let us consider a case in which a body of mass m is moving with constant velocity v on a frictionless table. To keep the body moving with same constant velocity , no force is required.
considering amother case where a body is moving with momentum 12 Ns in a free space; here also no force is required to keep the body moving constant momentum because force is required only when momentum of the body has to change.
In above situations, force is not being applied but the displacement of the body is changing.
We hope this clarifies your doubt.
