Expert Answer
Local environment and soil is damaged by overuse of fertilisers in extensive farming because excessive fertilizer that washes into storm drains eventually makes its way into bodies of water, such as rivers and lakes, causing pollution. it also affect the aquatic life. While the addition of nutrients found in fertilizer increases plant growth, too much fertilizer can negatively affect their health. Root burn is a condition in which the roots of plants suffer damage from the overuse of fertilizers.
