is it possible for a prism to bend the ray upward or not bend the ray at all

prism can bend the ray upward if the refractive index of the prism is smaller than the refractive index of the medium outside the prism.
if the refractivev index of the prism is same as the refrfactive index of the material; outside then the light ray will not bend.
