Is it possible for a lens to act as a convergent lens in one medium and divergent lens in another?

Dear Student

Consider aconvex  lens made up of  glass  its refractive index is 1.4.

If you can immerse it in a medium with refractiveindex graterthan 1.4 the lens acts as concave lens.
