Expert Answer:

Air  is a homogeneous mixture.

The mixture of gases forming the atmosphere is called the air. Air is a homogeneous mixture containing about 78% Nitrogen, 21% Oxygen, and the remaining 1% of air is constituted by Carbon dioxide, Water vapour, some Inert gases such as Argon, Helium, Neon, Krypton and Xenon and Dust particles.
