Whenever the magnetic lines of force are cut by a close circuit, an induced current flows in the circuit which lasts as long as the change lasts. The direction of this induced current can be determined by Fleming's right hand rule ; according to which if u stretch the thumb, middle finger and forefinger of your right hand mutuallly perpendicular to each other such that the forefinger indicates the direction of magnetic field and the thumb indicates in the direction of motion of conductor, then the middle finger will indicate the direction of induced current.
