In which method can we calculate the co-ordination number of NaCl ?Explain ?

The NaCl lattice has FCC crystal structure in which each sodium ion is surrounded by 6 chloride ions. Hence, the coordination number of NaCl is 6. Observe green colored lines of coordination of Na with Cl in the below image.
