In water oxygen and hydrogen are present in the ratio of 1:8 and can extinguish fire. can a mixture containing same gases in the same ratio by mass be used for extinguishing fire like water?

Dear student
We can not use a mixture of hydrogen and oxygen to extinguish a fire as the mixture would retain the properties of its constituents
Hence oxygen wil rather support combustion and hydrogen being highly inflammable will burn with a pop sound
