In the given rectangle, find the value of x and y.

Expert Answer
Since the measure of each angle of rectangle is 90o
Therefore, ∠ADC = y = 90o
Also, ∠BAD = 90o
This gives, x + 45o = 90o
x = 90o - 45o = 45oHence, x = 45o and y = 90o.
