Given circuit is redrawn and given as fig.(1) to show that the resistances 3Ω, 2Ω and 6Ω are in parallel .
Equivalent Resistance R of these three resistances is given as
(1/R) = ( 1/3 ) + ( 1/2 ) + ( 1/6)
we get R = 1Ω from above equation .
In fig.(2) , we replace three resistances by 1Ω and calculate the current I in the circuit
I = Voltage / Resistance = 2 V / ( 4 + 1 ) Ω = 0.4 A
