In our homes the connection of electricity is in sires or parallel and explain it?

In homes the connection is Parallel connection.
A serial connection is a connection in which loads are connected end to end, i.e. between two points a series of resistors are connected end to end. Whereas a parallel connection is the one in which resistances are connected across same two points such that they share the same two points.
in parallel connection loads can work independently and thus they are used in home.
