Tropical rainforests are known to be Earth’s lungs. They contain a large number of tropical trees which are a home to wide variety of fauna. As compared to temperate forests, tropical forests are more evergreen and useful to man. Hence, they are more prone to deforestation by man. As a result, their cover on the earth is decreasing due to rapid rate of deforestation.
