In my previous question in -8xyz,you gave the answer -yz is the coefficient of 8x and can be called it as literal coefficient but -yz is the multiplication of -1 i.e numerical coefficient, and yz is literal coefficient so -yz can be termed as coefficient of 8x.Therefore during describing a literal coefficient negative sign can never be written, is not true?

Expert Answer:
If a factor is a numerical quantity, it is called numeral coefficient of remaining factors and if the factor involves letters, it is called the literal coefficient of remaining factors.
Thus, in the term -8xyz, the coefficient of 8x is the remaining factors, that is -yz
Therefore, -yz is the literal coefficient of 8x
