In law of reciprocal proportions, the law is valid when the 2 elements combine In a ratio which is either the same or a simple whole number multiple of the ratio in which these elements combine with each other.if  this ratio be 35/41,then will the law be valid?

Simple whole ration means when denominator and numerator are the whole numbers.  this law will be valid in this condition because this is a simple whole ratio. This law is not valid in few conditions and these are-

If the different isotopes of the element are involved in making a chemical compound.

The law is not applicable when elements combine in the same ratio but different compounds are formed.

When an element exists in the form of different isotopes in its compounds, the law does not hold good.
