ICSE Class 10 Answered
In cell division, why there are need of "centrioles", as lysosomes can also create spindle fibres (in animal cell)?

Expert Answer
Centrioles produce spindle fibres in animal cells.
Lysosomes are organelles that contain digestive enzymes. They digest excess or worn out organelles, food particles, and engulfed viruses or bacteria. They have no role in spindle fibre formation.
