in an enperiment out of 100 student,75 pass in english.60 pass in math and 45 passed in both eng & math what is the no of student passed in exactly one of two subject

Dear Student,
 
Here is the solution:
 
Number of students passing in english = 75
Number of students passing in maths = 60
Number of students passing in english and maths = 45
 
Therefore number of students passing only in english  =  75-45 = 30
number of students passing only in maths = 60-45 = 15
 
Therefore number of students passing in exactly one of the two subjects = 30 + 15 = 45
