In a rain bow formation when a ray of light enters the drop why light is reflected one time inside the rain drop and why it is not reflected again but reflected?

I think ur qs is why light is not refracted again in the other end of the drop but reflected?
when light enters the drop, it disperses.  then when these light rays are incident on the other end of the drop then the angle of inbcidence is mostly more than the critical angle of water and air medium. so the light rays get totally reflected back . this is simple geometry. so as total internal reflection takes place at the other end.
