In a plane mirror, the image is formed inside the mirror.(The two rays meet at a point inside the mirror.) But still it is said to be real while in a spherical mirror, when the image is formed inside the mirror, it is said to be virtual. Why?

Expert Answer:

your concept is wrong.
In a plane mirror, the image is formed inside the mirror.(The two rays do not meet at a point inside the mirror , they appear to come from that point inside mirror.) and it is said to be virtual not real. And you can never project this image on a screen.
