There is a small contradiction in your statement. From the exponential laws, it is clearly stated that when we are comparing two exponenets with same base then the numbers in the exponents must be either positive or negative number but not zero for sure. So we cannot compare 1^0 = 1^1 becasue it is violating the exponential laws.
