if you provided with some vegetables to cook .she aaddead salt into the vegetables during cooking process .after adding salt ,vegetables realesed water .what mechanism could be responsible for this

- It is a process of osmosis where liquid moves from the salt present in lower concentration to the salt present in higher concentration.
- Addition of salt to vegetables while cooking increases the salt concentration outside the vegetables.
- The concentration of salt in the body of vegetables becomes lower than the outside concentration.
- Hence, the liquid or water present inside the body of vegetables comes out to maake the concentration equal on both the sides
