if two supplementary angles are in the ratio 5:1,find the angles.

Let the two supplementary angles be 5x and x respectively.
Then, 5x + x = 180
6x = 180
x = 30
5x = 5(30) = 150
Therefore, the two suplementary angles are 150 degrees and 30 degrees.
