If two lenses of same focal length but opposite nature are placed together ,how will the lens behave
Asked by mehaksaini | 2nd Jun, 2009, 06:27: PM
When the lenses are of same focal lengths and of opposite nature and let
f1 = f; f2 = -f
1 / F = (1 / f1) + (1 / f2)
F = f1 f2 / (f1 + f2)
F = infinity
Thus the combination of lenses will behave as a plane glass plate.
